Welcome!

Since 1917, the Lake County Agricultural Society has held the Lake County Fair here in Lake County, Minnesota. Each fair has had it's own flavor and style, with one goal; Showcase agriculture in our lives, while providing good family fun.

In 2009, the Fair is August 14-16. Three fun-filled packed days. 

Our Fair Highlights:

  • A  carnival midway, with rides and games for everyone (Carnival: Gopher State Expo) 
  • Free shows and entertainment on Stage and Outside (Like: Paul Christian & MN Old West Society)
  • Large exhibit buildings filled with all types of fun things to see
  • Horse Show & Events, to watch for free (Like: the 4H Horse Show)
  • Farm Animals of ALL varieties (In the barns)
  • Large outdoor picnic/play area
  • Free shows and contests for kids of all ages
  • Open Class & 4-H , Exhibits and Demonstrations
  • FREE admission for the first 100 kids 12 & Under on Friday
  • FREE admission for the first 100 seniors Over 55 on Friday before 2:00 PM

In addition to our regular lineup of events, there are specials such as  Kids Day & Senior Citizens Day. We think you will agree, that the Lake County Fair offers something for everyone. Please join us this year!

We would like to welcome you to attend any of our meetings held each first Wednesday of the month 7 pm at the County courthouse in the main bldg ( LEC) or Social Service Bldg. Beginning June - the meetings will be held at the Fairgrounds every 1st Wed. of the month. Should you like to become a member of our Society attend a meeting and join then.
