“Pride in a Free America” A message from The Lake County Agricultural Society / Fair Board Welcome to the LAKE COUNTY FAIR AUG 12-15, 2010 Premium Handbook is now available for download The 2010 Lake County Fair is fast approaching, it is a short 4 months away. The fair board is busy trying to make it a very special event for all. Gopher State Expositions has been hired again this year for your midway, we have also hired Great Lakes Timber Show, scheduled events are tree topping, log rolling, and chainsaw activities. We have also hired a mechanical bull, so if your six or sixty you can try and be a bull rider. Thursday August 12th at the fair will be Senior Day, Friday is Kid’s Day, Saturday will be Family Day and Sunday is Armed Forces Day. Saturday is also the 4-H Horse Show, so come and cheer on the Lake County 4-her’s . Sunday we are also going to have a Renegade Riders Horse Show and our Cowboy Challenge. The Lawnmower Race, hay bale toss, frying pan toss and stick horse race will also be Sunday That is some of the activities that have been planned so far. More are still in the works. If you are interested in helping with any activities or have ideas to make your fair better, we are always looking for new members for the Agricultural Society we hold meetings the first Wednesday of every month. The May meeting will be at the Fairgrounds at 7:00. We are working on the schedule of events, keep checking this website for updates and contracts.
